That seems perfectly valid. Yet I find it hard to accept that the DT 1990 couldn’t be improved by removing the mud region bloat and the 8 kHz spike. That’s really all I had in mind when I wrote about copying the Elex/Clear tuning.
Lol of course, I most likely didn’t word what I meant to say correctly, I am def for beyer controlling the treble lol. I was just saying that it wouldn’t turn into a clear or elex, but I do think a better signature would be nice for the 1990. I really wish there was an 1880 as the 880 600 ohm has the best sound signature out of all the beyers for me lol
