Szalayi does have a dynamic driver for the bass!?
I think it was the first tribrid that also had a planar driver inside
I knew you would like it…Had to think of your review of Shanling ME600 and that Szalayi could be an upgrade to it

Try it with a brighter cable i remember many reports of it reacting well to a cable swap

Szalayi is back. OMG, what a name
. Congratulations to the winners, I guess they’ll be able to stick them in their ears. In 2025, I think there’s a better hot soup than Szalayi. But the rabbit hole is bottomless

Interesting trade! I’ve heard the Szalayi really needs a strong source to shine. The 3D imaging sounds wild, I’m curious if it’s a similar experience with different sources or does the Tap1 Pro just take it to another level?

The DCE is doing the heavy lifting setting the stage you could say and the Tap 1 Pro adding some slight colorization and tonnes of power the DCE is missing.

Ah, got it! So the DCE lays the foundation and the Tap1 Pro just brings it to life with that extra power and detail. Sounds like a killer combo!
