Worst case, sounds like nothing a little blue tac or tape canā€™t fix =).

you would have to go about this method which is quite annoyingā€¦ I have said this quite a few times on here alreadyā€¦ the clips are reversed now so any adapters that worked on the shp9500 will not work on 9600 making pad swaps complicatedā€¦ even using blue tac or tape you run the risk of those clips destroying your pads by cutting into themā€¦ you need the clip on plastic from the pads they come with but in order to get that outside of a 3d printed ring made specially for this headphone you would have to tear and scrape the glue off the stock pads, therefore destroying the stock pads, in order to obtain the adapterā€¦ then swap accordingly.

Again, repeating myself hereā€¦ the 9600 IS NOT capable of using 3d printed rings like the 9500 due to the changesā€¦ it would have to be specially designed specifically with the changes in mind

What are the differences to the rings? CAD & 3D printing isnā€™t that hard.

Exactly, Iā€™m really surprised no one has made rings yet for the 9600

I dunno if earpads helped it but OG shp9600 was a downgrade IMO
