This PC was my latest Build done this past summer
CPU: Ryzen 3700x
Cooler:Hyper 212 EVO black
GPU : Asus ROG Strix 2080 ti
RAM: was changed at a later date the one in the picture was some spare ram I had laying around cause RAm was not delivered yet at the time of building it is now 32 GB of ddr4 3600 mhz g skill trident z RAM
MOBO:asus X570 TUF wifi
PSU: I don’t quite remember… I believe it was a corsair 850 w psu 80 plus gold
1 TB corsair SSD
4 TB seagate HDD
128 GB samsung NVME drive for boot
case was a budget TG deepcool case. hated that thing such a waste to build great specs in a case but whatever man wants what he wats and it’s what he’s gonna get
Built February this year after a phone call from a friend that they were at canada computers looking for a keyboard came out with all these parts and no fucking keyboard. stardew valley, slime rancher, and league of legends machine

by far one of my least favorite builds to have ever worked on cause of the case such a garbage cheap plastiky case.

That case is pretty freaking sweet…are you looking at more efficient components to load into that portable? Seams like an interesting prospect with a totally different set of parameters from a usual PC build…

I got a 520W PSU in there, if space (or mainboard) allowed for it, I could have two GPUs in there.
A battery to make it truely portable would make it impossible to move without putting wheels on it.
What if you put together a hodgepodge of OEM laptop components. Use the same design basics, but much smaller, more efficient parts. Think that could be an interesting project to basically build your own “desktop killer” “laptop” - really more of a portable computer at this point…but whatever
Problem with laptop components is they are purpose built to the point modding is near impossible.
A few things that could work for a hypothetical “Version 2”:
- Get several 80mm fans (4 per side?) and mount them at a 45° angle
- Mount the GPU fans-down (reduces hight)
- Get RAM without heat spreaders so the fan on the cooler can be below it
- sfx or tfx PSU, maybe a nano-PSU with an external powerbrick (limits total system power to 180W)
- multi-core cables to connect the front panel to the internal components (pricy)

Looks like your next one will be a venture into custom loop cooling.
This is my pcpartpicker post and parts list.
Custom loops are awesome, but I personally can’t justify the expense unless I were to build an insanely high end pc. The cooling doesn’t give any practical boost to performance unless the parts being cooled are the absolute top end and you plan to overclock. Now if I win the lottery…I’m all for it. I think it looks amazing and really brings an artistic element onto the build. But a full loop for CPU and GPU runs 1000$++ which really prohibits it from being worth it for all but the highest end builds imo.
I want to do a custom loop next build, but is a few years away. I think that the market for custom loop parts is going to get more competitive and cheaper now that EK and Alphacool have legitimate competition with Corsair, Phanteks and enermax all in the market.
I sure hope so. Currently like I said I can’t justify the cost unless my components are top of the line. And I can’t even justify the top of the line components to myself (I’m looking at you Nvidia) for the price…

Yeah, NVIDIA should be ashamed
As much as I didn’t want to buy an NVIDIA GPU, the 2070 Super was perfect for my use case. If AMD ever creates decent drivers for their GPU’S, NVIDIA is screwed…especially with intel about to enter the GPU market.
