SMSL SU-8 v2 just dropped on Drop.com (and thought's)

When it says unlocked it means the remote. The su-8 might turn itself off if it doesn’t detect a signal, I usually just power it off and turn it on when I need it though

Put it on 24/192 through USB and see if it still happens.

Ive been running the unit through optical after i managed to find some ghetto homebrew driver’s to fix the issues window’s 10 has with post processing through Spidif. However I believe I had the same issues you had when I was using USB, but only on 32 bit.

I just keep it at 24/192 on usb and then when I use it I just use wasapi event and no issues there
