If it’s fully inserted, feels secure, and making sounds, then I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. Personally I don’t have any cables that stick out like that, but maybe others do and can chime in

Arrived while I was working and couldn’t concentrate from then on.

First track played was Ambitionz Az a Ridah and then Comfortably Numb of course. For what it’s worth for a first impression, I was already grooving on the first track hard.

The Noire cable does have the red and transparent base of the 2pin sticking out way more than the stock cable. No need to worry about seating as long as the cable is seated until that red and transparent mount are flush with the iem. You’re good to go!

Not a fan that the Noire Cable doesn’t have a Locking system. I suspect the connector would get loose over time.

I think it was less for the Mele. I did pay express for my sister when buying those… I feel like it was just $5 to be honest but may have been $10. I definitely didn’t have $16 to add on in this case, and I’m not in a rush/without any good IEMs for the moment. Either way, I’m also on the Slow Joe train.
