I found and haven’t stopped listening to this:

Not quite unique or unusual but I dig this version over the classic.

Even most people that listen to hip hop won’t have an ear for this album but this guy’s incredibly smooth delivery that leans on the very barrier if mumble rap and normal rap plus his very unique and mellow style has made truly unique music that doesn’t really fall into any subgenre of hip hop

Not sure if anyone has mentioned Throbbing Gristle yet. My brother introduced me to them and I’m sampling them on Qobuz. From what I’ve read, the industrial genre took its name from TG’s record label, Industrial Records.

Probably discovered them in this very forum, but search isn’t helping rn, and I don’t see them mentioned in the primary thread where they should be:

They split up in 2015, then around 2020 took down their music from all commercial sources over some online chat disagreements about who had what rights to use pieces of their collaborative work in separate projects. Kelsey then made all their Made in Heights discography available for free on Dropbox: Dropbox - HEIGHTS catalogue (2010-2015) - Simplify your life

Les Dunes
Local band, not very known even around here, instrumental, with a floating “post-rock” sound. According to spotify, they where my top band/artist last year. Probably a bit due to the fact that i have had their album running in the background while working a bit. The lack of vocals helps me not shifting all my focus to the music as i easily can do when i try to listen to music while doing stuff, but i still enjoy listening to their album when i am just listening

Thanks for sharing that link. I was wondering why their stuff wasn’t on Spotify or anything.

Yeah, I had got my first favorites off Bandcamp in FLAC thankfully, but still was shocked when one day ‘poof’, couldn’t see any of them on Bandcamp anymore. After a bit of digging I found the Dropbox link on their YouTube in the About section, and now that’s also gone , you can only find it in the comments if you’re lucky.

I don’t usually share vocaloid stuff… but I unironically love this song and video.

A new song from Cosmo@Bosu-P - A Mushroom’s Growing on Me!! (sub ver)
