I think the disconnect is that people forget that when they see a post they disagree with, that there is another actual human being on the other end of that post. The internet has dulled some peopleā€™s sense of tact and respect. I myself can be guilty of this from time to time, so I always try to re-ground myself into reality and try to understand where the other person is coming from.

But I will say that I have received some downright intentionally rude comments at SBAF and ASR in general. Ironically, the crap I got on SBAF was on a thread where I agreed with the guy that got nasty with me, lol.

I often donā€™t agree with said like ASR because being super objective just makes anything cheaper seem lesser if you really want something good

Iā€™m like the most lo-fi audiophile possible, I barely hear most difference and just want a lot of crunch and dynamic intensity and crazy. Most audio forums besides this and a vinyl forum Iā€™m on actually understand that interest in intensity and fun but still not trying to make up for a bad sound.

This is legit unique
