Don’t really think of intros separately, but after some effort I can come up with this one: love what Mark Fowler did with his piano arrangement for the Game of Thrones theme precisely because of the intro he created for it, he didn’t just hammer away at making it sound as “mechanically like the original” as possible and call it a day.
