Some of you are so lucky, especially those of you on the west coast. I feel like the audio scene is so much bigger than where I’m from. The best I got to go and try out headphones is Best Buy haha. No big audio stores. One home theater place but all they had for strictly music was an audioengine d1 and a Sony music streaming system. I brought my headphones in looking for an amp and I was like “awwwwww 
”. Didn’t know it was mainly home theater
Oh man so you’re even worse off than me ha.
Sometimes I wish I could just sit and listen to a big range of headphones and gear and really pick, rather than the trial and error of ordering. Plus waiting is a bummer.
I am going to Phoenix soon though, they have to have a high end audio store somewhere in that giant city!
Yeah make sure to scout out some stores to go visit lol, should be a fun trip

But just imagine the money we would spend if we had easy access to nice 'phones.

I live within Riverside County, but I can’t for the life of me find any good place to try out headphones where I am. Every time I go to a Best Buy their headphone displays are always broken in some way shape or form lol. The last one I went to had channel imbalance in one, and all of their higher end headphones were just outright broken.
Funnily enough, the closest place I can try any sort of serious audio is the Schittr, but that’s like over an hour or so away.

I did NOT find anyplace in Phoenix w/ selection of extensive headphones…sorry. My good friend Glen and his buddy Bill though run a small place called Arizona HiFi http://tubeaudio.com/
If you stop by and say hello they will gladly talk high-end audio with you. If it happens to be a Sunday, you are in for a treat, locals stop by and hang out all afternoon socializing and playing records. Most awesome selection of high end tube stuff around. Hope you have luck finding a place w/headphones, i did not manage it.
Sweet. I was just looking that place up. But yeah didn’t see much for headphones but amps, especially tubes which is something I currently need. I will definitely be stopping by.
