The Reds have a fat, long nozzle. They fit too deep for me and caused me pain.
But that length may be what’s needed to keep an IEM in your ear. Might want to focus on that more than the hump.
Just a thought … good luck!

Yeah, thats another great point. I think the deep fitting stuff I prefer honestly. I only bring up the hump because the zero has literally 0 hump so its like no interference. I guess my question is what are some examples of deep fitting iems? I know moondrop stuff, the davinci, but not too sure what other brands/models are deep fitting. Or I guess what would be a good way to tell if an IEM will be a deep fit.
Etymotic is the king of deep fit. Tickles the side of your damn brain!
Honestly, I think I needed something small since I bought the ie200 for a p good deal (80 usd). I love these things they are honestly so comfortable. I got the dunu s&s ear tips as well and i have had these on for hours without any adjustment. That small shape just works perfect.
Ah, excellent news, man! Glad you found a solution. That’s a fine price for a nice IEM. Dunu S&S are among my favorite tips, too.
Hell of a combo. Enjoy!
Honestly, it’s 5 months this time into trying to cope with iems again.
I guess I can update on the few things and updated that I have tried.
ie200 - Man, the actual shell is nice but i feel like I want to jam it deeper in my ear. But obviously it can’t . Also messed up and the s&s tips are way too big because i got the xl because i think since i have big ears I have big holes which is not the case honestly. for reference when I owned airpods pro I was using medium on those and they fit fine. Also the cable situation sucks so bad I am using a cable that people said went well with the ie200s and it still disconnects very easily as easy as like taking off my headphones. Overall it’s like everything but the shell I’ve been frustrated by. I also really dislike the tuning. Way too much brightness for me.
Aful 5+2 sounded fine, comfort issue as always (right ear I feel like it’s always slipping out and I need it to fit in deep, my left ear is fine)
I think overtime, I’ve learned more of my sound preference. V shape is not for me, at least for in ears. I will say I have tried atriums and calderas on the headphone side and those are perfect. Atrium is an alltimer and is my daily for when im at home. Love it’s warmth, it’s mids, it’s bass with that magical biocelluose driver.
I think I need a warm/dark iem that fits deep or has the ability to go into my ear deep. I honestly don’t mind having less detail if it’s a sound i can enjoy a ton. Honestly I would love to hear IEM and eartip recommendations and should I honestly give up on XL tips and just try to look at medium because going to big is just going to ruin things? What brands in general would be good at warm/dark sound tbh. Since I know a lot of stuff seems like it’s opposite of that. How are the expensive ripoff brands in terms of signature like noble, campfire, fir, etc. Might have to go with that. I am interested in the meteor and the giant by symphonium since those seem like what i would want. Outside of fitment. I love me some mud i guess.
If you haven’t tried them, you should give the Aful Explorer a shot; not super deep-fitting but small shells and you can always roll tips for a deeper fit. Tuning is warm but still reasonably detailed. Could be a good way to see if you think Meteor or Giant would be good options in the future without spending a lot of cash in the meantime.
Final Audio E5000, bullet shaped so just use a smaller tip size than usual and you can get a deeper fit.
AFUL Explorer fits your desires perfectly.
