11.11 SALES (share your finds)

$500 off is solid

If anyone is looking for a new pair of ZMF…I see they put there ZMF November sale up

Unfortunately, they are on the HFM official unauthorized list. You won’t get any warranty from them. Not a good deal of Hifiman products when it is without official warranty.

Is it just me or do they say there is a 40% sale yet nothing has actually changed in price…

Here……

That’s unfortunately the same price as pre sales. IIRC they did a super limited reviewer run around $185 then it’s been at this price since.

EDIT - @Ohmboy sorry didn’t reply directly / fat fingers

hey WT, welcome to HFG!

what’s your budget for a new amp?
what do you have for a DAC?
what kind of music genre’s do you listen to mainly?

@Marzipan Thank you!! I was thinking new dac and amp to be honest, powering thx00, k7xx, lcd2c and m1060c, and I have Modi magni 2U right now, looking to get something with balanced and SE options, budget would be 5-600 USD for both? I’m open to suggestions to look for second hand as well!

Music wise - I’m all over the place, metalcore, EDM, rap, ukelele songs, kpop, you name it! Except country lol

Those Zen Pros are actually singing my name i was going to take the plunge for a pair of OH7 or IE600’s but the zen pro with some EQ are pretty much all i’d ever need

Won’t be a huge step up but the JDS labs EL stack is great for Audeze. Loved it with my LCD2CB and LCDX.

Unfortunately looking for something with balanced in + out! So those are definitely off the table… it seems to be Schittius stack might be the best bang for buck, or Su-8/9 and THX AAA of some caliber…

THX will be meh I’d skip it, I have a 887 in storage because it doesn’t pair well with my cans. Schiit stack would be good, I’ve had good luck with thier equipment.
Also a well implemented SE setup will run with a balanced setup no problem.

@Etroze86 I was thinking Magnius and Modius, as the value is REALLY good, but I have been concerned about the reports of terrible reads out of the SE output…

It’s definitely a very good value. Iirc it was designed balanced so I wouldn’t even bother with SE on it but it’s still probably useable. If you have really resolving headphones then you probably notice a difference, if you don’t then I wouldn’t worry to much.

But if I am running THX00, M1060C or K7XX, they are all SE right? what would I do in that instance? Keep the magni as back up?

Or simply an Asgard 3 with the modius

I thought they all had replaceable cables so you could use them balanced.
Try the stack out, it’s not a bad choice in the price range. Keep your small stack for a backup till you find out if you can live without it. Plus you won’t have a huge resale value from your current setup.

no balanced output! :frowning:
