Well, the he4xx and 58x exist, and not to mention iems, but for bass, the 770 is definitely up there
As far as IEM im happy with my TIN T2 
The only thing that really bums me out about the 770’s is the attached cable - I was hoping to use a short cable and hook them up to my FiiO BTR3. I actually hook it up to the headband of my Status Audio CB-1 (which have been “ok” so far)
Yeah, that’s been a main complaint of the beyer line for a while. The cable can be kinda cumbersome at times
If i had any sort of clue or skill i would consider trying modding it…
But reality is a b**tch
If you frequent r/avexchange I regularly see people selling modded beyerdynamic cans on there all the time, in fact I just bought a modded 770 from there. You could post a WTB thread and see if anyone bites.
Of course only if you don’t mind secondhand.
I dont mind the 2nd hand thing, its just that the 200$ i got was an amazon gift card… so no dice
Also i live outside the states so shipping costs are a bitch for regular folk
