I’ve been using a fun 2.1 Corsair set for years. It’s been great for gaming, but I need something that’s better at filling the room with delicious saxophone and has some more warmth. I’ve got more-or-less $300 ($400 is my hard limit) to spend on a new setup. It’ll be used in a small room on my desk, both for gaming and for just playing music in the room. I’m not looking for anything specifically attuned for gaming, I’m just giving a scale of what I’m looking for: desk-suitable speakers generally good for a variety of uses. Also, there is room under the desk for a sub, if you should recommend one.
