400-600$ pair of speakers

Hello everyone
I need your advice on buying a pair of speakers for my PC but I never had any speakers at all, just the headphones.
Speakers will be used mailny for movies and music and a bit of gaming.
Due to Zeos reviews i have stopped at Adam T8V pair of speakers. Questions are:

  1. Are there any better sounding (in general) speakers for the price?
  2. What would I need to use them? I currently have a Geshelli Labs Enog 2 Pro DAC and Schiit Asgard 3 AMP. Will this be enough to use the speakers?
  3. The best option is non Chinese manufacturer and non made in China. European, Japanese or American would be perfect.
  4. Black or dark speakers only as the whole PC setup is black.

  • Depends, what are listeners preferences.

    Preamp Output. Connect these to your powered monitors or speaker power amplifier with highquality RCA cables. If your powered monitors have XLR inputs, you can use RCA to XLR cables to connect to them.

Just throwing it out there. I have the Asgard 3 amp and I use it via rca to xlr cables to my Kali audio lp6 powered monitors in nearfield as my set up. 6.5 inch woofers have plenty of low end thump for my music which is rock, Blues, Jazz and classical… 149.99 apiece for these and they also have a 8 inch model as well. I also own the Adam audio T5Vs which are on another system here however on that I added a subwoofer for more bottom end.
