Any other open back you think would be better that I have not mentioned Or is 58x the way to go for my needs?
you’re right…my memory got the bass between the 58x and 6xx crossed,. the 58x does have the better bass response.
The tygr is a nice option at this price point and maybe an akg k702 but Personally for an all rounder easy to drive headphone for music I really like how the 58x sounds

For the k371, Resolve from headphones.com is the one respected reviewer I saw preferred them over the k361. His review could be useful for comparison.
If I were you I’d go 58x – 6xx if you feel an amp upgrade coming soon.
Ok so they more I look into thing (like headphones.com) the more I go down a rabbit hole.
So give my K3, if you guys had to pick ANY open in the $300 range what would it be? In the $200 range?
Same question for closed? $300 and $200.
For open I’d pick sennheiser hd560s for a neutral, analytical sound signature. Will be great with the k3, my other pick would be the drop 58x. Closed I dont really know.
