đŸ”¶ 7HZ Timeless Planar

I have a pair Spinfit CP240s , but its totally useless for me. How deep ear canal you have ?

Second this. But I can only tolerate them for a short time.

The final E doesn’t really do that for me. It’s like the material is too thin. Cp100+/100/145 all do great stuff with bass and have great comfort as well.

Gonna try the final E again on the timeless. That is just a hit or miss tip for me.

Don’t be afraid to give them a sub-bass boost

i agree to this too. For my ears this has the best overall but not the best seal. I found for my ears, the best seal is Spiral Dots
but the tip stem is shorter than Spinfits. Foam tips like Dekoni has good seal but the foam expansion hurts my inner ear. The best foam that’s kind to my ears is the Comply Comfort tips, but they gunk up and tear up very easy.

Apart from the SpinFit CP100 - are there any eartips on Linsoul that are worth checking out for the Timeless? (Making an order
)

I use SednaEarfitLight :ok_hand:

What DAC do you recommend especially for the Timeless 7Hz?

I don’t get into that. Everything I have is powered from my Qudelix 5k. I have only heard the dx3 pro+ with the timeless outside of that because I got rid of my all my desktop gear after finding insufficient improvement of any type over the Qudelix with my gear. And the Qudelix rips the dx3 pro+ to shreds. (returned it after less than a day of listening). The dx3 pro+ struggles with low ohm loads.

I would guess based on my past experience, that the Burson Playmate 2 would be a really good compliment. And I think the idsd micro signature would also work wonderfully. But, I never heard those with the timeless. But both worked well with more sensitive IEMs.

I personally find desktop dac/amps to represent a lot of sacrifice with very little gain. I do keep trying them, as I would like something with some serious power at some point. But most desktop stacks just make me go “meh”.

I’m using a Topping D10s combined with a Sabaj A10h amp. Sounds detailed and neutral. Fully transparent. Don’t forget to buy a 6.35mm adapter.

does nymz work in customs? :open_mouth:

Nope. Still in customs. Someone there must be enjoying them :love_you_gesture:

I’d hang myself. Love those guys :grimacing:

Damn they must be jamming :tada::confetti_ball::tada::confetti_ball::musical_score: at least they won’t need “burn in” when ya get them :spider_web: :grimacing:

If those guys have kept them and jamming, then it just goes to show how great they have to be :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Hopefully I will find out next week

That is my impression too
The difference between most DAC, Amp, pre-amp stacks are such small margins, and they want fairly large amounts of money for those tiny margins.

The portable options like the Qudelix 5k and BTR5 do such a great job for so little money. There are some headphones that need more power than they deliver, but I haven’t run into that yet.

I am using a BTR5 with my 7Hz Timeless. If I were buying an amp for it today, I would get the Qudelix 5k. Note that the Timeless doesn’t really need much power, I have run it on a $10 USB-C to 3.5mm dongle, with a 2.5mm to 3.5 adapter connected, all hooked up to my phone.

I think a proper source makes a significant difference with certain headphones, but when it comes to iems, I think they are so easy to drive, that there isn’t really a point. You mostly loose money and convenience, when going for a desktop dac/amp for iems without any real benefit.
