I always say that because some people consider a detailed presentation as sharp and painful to their ears for long periods of time. Those people might very well consider the Mele âbetterâ than a planar driver.
I can absolutely confirm. Out of the planers I own, the Dekoni Blue have the most bass, 5XX having very anemic bass, while the 4XX is a very happy medium for me.
On the dynamic side, my m40x would be the bass monster(by comparison to the others) and the Noirs would probably edge out the K550.
Generally, I believe most planars are tuned to be quite flat. But they are capable of handling a lot of bass EQ without suffering any quality loss. âPlanar bassâ is a thing after all.
Can anyone compare 7Hz Timeless to Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk? FR looks similar, but curious on detail resolution, soundstage and natural timber between them.
