đŸ”¶ 7HZ Timeless Planar

Thank you!

I hope so. My only concern now is the fit by looking at them on picture they are in the bigger side.

I think the cable is the same as the kinera nanna’s cable if it is the same I will be really happy, cuz it will be soft, and lightweight.

Yeah, you’ll probably need to play around with tips. That thing seems kinda big and flat

Downside, who knows how long it’ll actually take to get here!

Gotta have at least one planar set. That’s the justification you can tell yourself

They look really good and different in the ear indeed. I might save up for this instead of Mele.

Different targets. Timeless will prolly be better, yes.

“Better” is subjective. More resolution for sure.

I said probably. Horses to tracks.

One costs 5x times the other one.

I always say that because some people consider a detailed presentation as sharp and painful to their ears for long periods of time. Those people might very well consider the Mele “better” than a planar driver.

Not me tho. My freaking name is Resolution!

Would it be accurate to make an educated guess that a planar would be lacking in the bass slam and physicality of what you’d expect from a DD?

I could only tell you that after hearing it. There are some planars that are quite limp sounding and other can slam as hard as DDs.

I can absolutely confirm. Out of the planers I own, the Dekoni Blue have the most bass, 5XX having very anemic bass, while the 4XX is a very happy medium for me.
On the dynamic side, my m40x would be the bass monster(by comparison to the others) and the Noirs would probably edge out the K550.

Generally, I believe most planars are tuned to be quite flat. But they are capable of handling a lot of bass EQ without suffering any quality loss. “Planar bass” is a thing after all.

Can anyone compare 7Hz Timeless to Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk? FR looks similar, but curious on detail resolution, soundstage and natural timber between them.

Almost no one has it yet,you probably need to wait for @Resolution to get it.

I will be able to when my unit arrives.
