Our 240v feed is derived from a bank of 12v leisure batteries via an 3.5 kw pure sine wave inverter…does that mean we are spike free?

What are “leisure batteries” ? Did you check the power inverter’s literature?
yes, as long as the audio stuff is alone on the circuit with the inverter.
