A new thing from HAC

I’ve shirked my duties on posting this stuff here! Apologies. Just added a few things to the boutique this morning. Sometimes stuff sells out in hours, sometimes it sits for a couple weeks, hard to know what’s going to move quick or not.

Good thing you remind me:
I was looking for a good dual TRS to TRRS adapter to connect phone style headphones to computers. (As was BigClive, apparently)
Those adaptes exist in the cheapy-chinese grade and not at all. I built my own now, but maybe you could add them to your product selection

Here’s a new batch of boutique stuff going live on the site at 11am (central time) today!

Dual 2.5mm | 4.5 ft

Dual 3.5mm | 4.5 ft

IC-7 Extension | 4 ft

“Shark Attack” 4.4mm interconnect

Black 4-pin XLR interconnect

@MazeFrame Man, I’m sorry I missed your message! If you’re still looking for a solution to this, can you email us the details at [email protected] . Mention your HFG username etc.

Do you have the same as this cable for interconnects? I’m very interested in these.

We do but nothing ready to ship. It’d have to be a custom order. If you end up snagging the headphone cable send us an email => [email protected]

No worries.

I don’t know if anyone has the specs for this adapter, all I have is what I posted to the rant thread.

Hey guys, been awhile. We have a new set of things going up in the boutique section today. I want to get back in the habit of posting them here so HFG can have first crack at them, they’ll be live on the site in a few minutes, if not live now:

White out Sennheiser 2-pin cable terminated to a male 4-pin XLR

A dual 4-pin mini-xlr cable terminated to a 4.4mm TRRRS (Audeze / ZMF pinout on this)

A 3 ft standard 3.5mm cable for stuff like SHP9500, Status CB-1, Aux applications etc.

One of our Multi-kit 2 combos in a custom color with this new white case we’ve been doing:

If I didn’t already have an MK-2 I’d grab that one up in a heartbeat…

Welp, tried to post last week’s drop on here, but most of the items sold out before I had a chance to. I don’t know that stuff will sell out that quickly this week, but here’s what’s going on the boutique here in a few minutes today:

  1. Color Coded Metallic Sleeving Multi-kit.

  2. Color Coded ((L) Blue ® Red) Diamond Pattern Dual 3.5mm cable

  3. Color coded Sennheiser 2-pin cable in helix patterns

  4. Diamond Pattern 90° 3.5mm headphone cable

Thanks for posting, @brux. That color coded HC-9 looks pretty slick, can’t wait to see it close up when it arrives…

@brux how goes making balanced cables for Sennheiser headphones? in my case, the HD599se.

Slow. I can’t find a source for 4 pole locking 2.5mm connectors unfortunately. We can make unbalanced cables for those headphones all day.

It’s frustrating for sure.

Thank you Thank you!

I’m not sure how viable the idea is…but what about making a connector that’s has a smaller diameter to bypass the locking ring?

@brux Hey man do you guys have a cable yet for the Ollo s4x?

I am having a hard time regularly updating this every week. Gotta do better!

Here’s what’s gone up in the boutique the last week or two for the most part, haha:

We also did another limited run this month, to test out if that’s a terrible idea or something worth doing regularly. This one sold out too, so hopefully we can make this a more regular thing.

Also, before I go, we’re doing a small mid-year sale. Can use the code MIDYEARGEAR21 for 10% off on the site. Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend!

that picture of the Grado just made me think perhaps you should find some talent to partner with and stat offering upgrades to make corded headphones removable…

/ominous music or /excited music YOU DECIDE!!!

@brux have you considered doing higher end cable types? I really like your cables for my lower end headphones, but I don’t use my hart cable for my HeK because the stock cable is audibly better to me (better bass and spatial reproduction).

Up voting this. I really like the Hart system from an ergonomic standpoint, but there is definitely a point in resolution capability where sonically they aren’t the best option. It would be super cool to have some higher end options in the Hart lineup.

I am in the snake oil camp for expensive cables…but I am onboard with a more premium product. perhaps you can get into silver?
