Advice for endgame headphones

I’m a looking for a headphone which sounds close to high end loudspeakers. You stand in front of them and you hear crystal clear, very dynamic sound with powerful precise bass.

I know headphones always sound different than loudspeakers, but anyway. I’m pretty new to good headphones and already have a SPH9500 and a Sennheiser 58x. Both didn’t blew me away with their sound. They both sound kind of boring to me. The SPH9500 even more than the 58x. The sound is pretty flat (too less bass and not very crystal clear). Hard to explain . I like powerful punchy, but precise bass and crystal clear vocals and highs. Something which “kicks you in the face”, kind of. So I guess my liking is more a “fun” headphone than an analytical one? Any advices (Price range +/-1000$) ?

I listen to Rock, Metall, but also things like Pink Floyd. No classic, no electronic sound.

I’m thinking of the Fostex TH-00x (Purplehearts), Sendy Aiva or Focal Elex, ZMF Aeolus, HIFIMAN Edition XX?

All of those are great choices, it really comes down to preference. The sendys will be bright and exciting, but not have the bass of the fostex, hifiman, or zmf. The Elex is probably the more neutral sounding of the bunch, so take that into account. Build is probably going to be best on the zmf and sendy, with focal as a close second. The xx might get a bit muffled sounding compared to the rest because of the slight lack of treble

Thanks. Just listening with my KZ ZS10Pro- IEMs and really like that kind of sound. Never thought that such a small device can deliver so much bass. Incredible! Rage against the machine with the guitar bass and kick drum f*** rock. So maybe that kind of sound but just a step more high end and not in ear.

Well the fostex is incredible at bass if that’s what your looking for. The xx is really good as well, but for pure slam, extension, and volume, the fostex is hard to beat. It’s also v shaped like the zs10 pro. The zmf will probably have similar bass performance, albeit not as boosted/impressive. It’s going to be a less aggressive v shape. Probably more detail as well. The sendys have nice tight clean bass, but can’t compare to the fostex, zmf, or hifiman if that’s what you are looking for

Purplehearts ordered  . Let’s see whats what. Like Jeremy Clarkson once said :“It was designed to grab hold of the small boy that lives in us all and shake him half to death.”

Sounds like the fostex with enough power and eq lol.

It can reliably reach into the upper 20hz range no problem with enough power and volume
