Depending on where you game (LAN’s, e-sports), you want to disqualify the AKG K-240
bro have you tried any of the akg’s
No. That’s why I didn’t comment on them. But from what I know they are more studio monitors than pleasure listening cans. Also from what I know about the others you mentioned, the akgs don’t seem to be a good choice in comparison.
If you are willing to get an amp, the dt880 sounds like a good choice, depending on what amp will decide what ohm of 880. The 880 is excellent in fps games with very good imaging and accurate soundstage, that imo is the highest preforming out of what you have listed. It is also very good for music, and works well with most genres. It is built like a tank and is very durable, and is also very comfortable as well. With your priorities you have, I think the dt880 would be my pick. You can grab a liquid spark or magni heresy and run it without a dac until you what to spend on a dac, and that will allow you to get the 600 ohm, the highest preforming Beyer
but i have not listed 880 as an option for beyers i only have the option of 990 pro and 770 pro
Gotcha, my bad, was making the assumption you could get them. The dt990 250 ohm would be my pick then, just figured if you can get the 770 and 990, the 880s were in reach as well, but I guess not. The 990s are the closest to the 880 but with more treble, so you would want to pair them with something like a liquid spark amp
In that case the 990 is my pick for comp gaming out of all the things listed
Okay.
If you can get an amp, I would suggest any of the amps that M0N, suggested, or the Fiio K5 Pro if you can afford it.
If you cannot get the DT880, I would recommend the DT990 600 ohm version if it is available over all of those other choices. If the 600 ohm version is not available, get the 250 ohm version.
@M0N any DT990 models OP should avoid? Like the black of the 880?
i m thinking of buying dt990 pro 250 ohm
with an amp from what all of you are advising
The monoprice liquid spark
Yeah, that sounds like a good pick!
