Faceplate Design Inspiration — Echoes of Jupiter
The swirling storms and pearl-like cloud bands captured by the Juno probe over Jupiter’s north pole sparked the designer’s imagination. The Performer 8S doesn’t try to replicate a planet but instead captures the grandeur of the cosmos, the ordered chaos of its atmosphere, and the ring-like aura that feels almost like an ancient symbol of power.
Sound Parameters
Compared to the original Performer 8, the 8S is fuller, grander, and slightly warmer. With balanced tuning across the spectrum, it delivers a stable, natural sound with a wide stage and strong resolution without harshness. Vocals are realistic yet smooth, and the bass is elastic with solid impact, outperforming rivals in its class.

Adjustable Passive Unit + Pressure Balancing
The passive radiator includes an open/close vent, allowing users to tailor the sound to their preference or music style.
With the vent closed, the bass is more stable, solid, and controlled.
Opening it gives the bass better elasticity, deeper extension, and a smoother, softer character.
Unlike traditional switches that only change bass quantity, this vent system creates two distinctly different bass textures.
Cable
The cable features 4N single-crystal copper with silver plating plus single-crystal copper, 6-strand, 392-core construction. The 0.78mm detachable design offers excellent flexibility, allowing users to easily swap cables to suit different music styles, personal preferences, or usage scenarios.
