Nah I don’t think it’s his piano. He always plays on Steinways as far as I remember and they should feel very similar. But still, all pianos sound unique
@Cameleon30 I love good organ music. When I was young I couldn’t understand why
my friend’s family had so many records of Bach,s Prelude and Fugue…all in a different key!! Then I heard them, lol.
Wow, this is good. I was only able to listen to about 11 minutes because I am at work, but tonight I will be taking in the entire performance.
There is so much music… I’ve been listening to organ from Bach, Pachelbel and Buxtehude for years but never Handel before. Another rabbit hole
I have a record of Spanish organ music that i have to unearth. brb
@Cameleon30 HA! You said Bach and suddenly I had this urge. I am enjoying this as we speak
Great recording. They are doing a wonderful job. Something else, too. I’m giving the Sivga’s a shot at classical! I thought Bach had a chance to sound good on them and I was right! And now, back to the music.

Tonight turned out to be classical night. Jaqueline Du Pre got me started, which led to Bach, and I will conclude this session tonight with this
By the Authentic Orchestra. I’ll be honest, I have not heard of them but I am enjoying it very much. I’m doing Symphony No. 4 tonight.

How can you tell it’s in Spanish?
Rolling into work this morning, I was almost off the freeway when I heard this beautiful piece on the radio
Now I can’t wait for tonight so I can find and listen to more. I have not been moved by a piece of music while in the car in a long time, usually because dealing with the morons around here is an intense daily grind. But this did it. Happy Friday, all.
Wow. I’m a huge Julie Fuchs fan and just found this, filmed in Notre Dame, which is being rebuilt. Hence the helmets. How come I’ve never heard this piece of Mozart before?
She’s the best. I wish she were around so that she could be re-recorded on better, modern gear.
Listening now. It’s gorgeous.
That was wonderful. I normally don’t care for vocals when I listen to classical, but this is really good! The piece ended too soon, so I found this too
She changes the game for me. I also enjoyed the conductor’s performance on this one!
@Raptor168 Oh, I’ve watch that vid a thousand times. I love the moment when the conductor watches Ms. Fuchs and grins. “You’re nailing this.” Now check this out:
