The fact you have the problem in every application strikes me as odd. Do you have any other computer or notebook to test on?
I am beginning to suspect a faulty unit. You also changed the USB lead (grasping at straws here)?
Wifi is 2.4GHz (or 5GHz) which is way outside (more than 100x) the range at which switchmode chips operate. As nothing worked so far, try turning your wifi off (WAP/router and notebook, phone, tablet, etc.)
i just tested on my laptop… same issue. how could this be lol
maybe my wifi? but i get over 150mb/s down and even effecting offline playback

i have a mesh network in my home and a separate router that only i use.
update:
i removed my internal pcie wifi card and am using some shitty wifi usb and the issue is gone.
my internet is now super slow but at least no noise… lol
might get something like this which looks more sealed and uses an external antenna.
