I definitely prefer my Klipsches since they are a bit more dynamic and has that punch. These definitely have surprisingly good bass and had me up and jumping around for a while, so it does a good job with EDM.
With that note, I agree that it definitely can use a sub to keep the bass tight and punchy. It is probably not needed with the floorstanders though.

I will also add that they are far better than any headphone setup I have used so far. I know it’s not really apples to apples, but I really enjoy that 3-D-like sound stage and crispness.
