networked DAC / Amp that’s intriguing.
though the headphone output seems to be lacking?

From what I know it’s mainly moreso a dac/streamer/media player and the headphone out is only there for convenience, I doubt they expect many to use it. So like this would be someones dac and network player for a living room or something, not something you would most likely find in a headphone setup

Noob question about that hp output: if you used that to feed a dedicated hp amp, in my case a Bellari HA540 MK2, would the Bellari or whatever just be amplifying a meh signal, or does the hp amp take that meh signal and output it’s own beautiful sound?
Edit: while it would be nice to know the answer to my question the question is moot because now that I’m reading reviews it’s pretty much a hard pass because of the firmware issues.

Using the headphone out to run to another amp technically works, but is not advisable, as it does take whatever coloration and distortion introduced by the first amp and compounds it with the coloration and distortion of the second.
