Are all 4 pin XLR to 4.4mm balanced?

Hey everyone. A bit new to hifiguides/audio gear in general so sorry if this is a dumb question.

I’m looking for a way to convert the balanced XLR on my schiit Magnius to a balanced 4.4mm female connector.

I found an adapter but I wasn’t sure if the 4.4mm female would be balanced.

Here’s the adapter:

I saw a few other adapters on eBay but I liked the idea of an adaptive plug rather than a dongle with a cable.

Hello, welcome to HFGF. 4.4mm plugs on its own is specially designed by Sony for balanced use, hence the name 4.4mm pentacon. So, it doesn’t have a single ended counterpart like 3.5mm plug.

So, for this converter or adapter, it will be a balanced one. You’ll be fine, and by looking from the product page, people seem to love the product.
