Are argon mk3 too similar to the nighthawks?

My argons will be coming this month, and I’ve been thinking about getting another headphone on top of it.
The nighthawks seem to fit my preference, and I’m generally just out to find a niche, fun, and unique headphone. However, their sound signature seems way too similar to the argons based on my research, which wouldn’t make them as unique as I want them to be. Any input on their similarities? Are the hawks unique enough from the argons to make them worth it?

Personally I found the hawks to be a much nicer headphone, it was a lot more engaging and worked much better for my preferences. My mk2 argons were nice in bassy stuff, but I found them kinda boring in songs that weren’t exactly suited to them.

So you think the hawks would complement the argons nicely because it sounds exciting on music that wasn’t made for the argons, or would you describe the sound signature as just being an improved version of the other according to your preference?

I would say that they compliment them, but tbh I found the nighthawks to perform better in pretty much every aspect, the only exception may be soundstage width, but honestly I didn’t find the argon stage to be as wide as people seem to claim.

No idea about the comparison to the Nighthawks but definitely get the balanced mod from Ryan with the Argons. their bass will rattle out fillings. Mids are great. Treble depends on pads. Id recommend Lambskins
