it’s very much worth it as a headphone. but from what I remember you already bought the 58x. so then worth is up to you. if it’s worth it or not. as you will have 2 pretty similar headphones where one beats the other in some cases but still in the same family of headphones. in somewhat the same price point.
I prefer the HD 58X Jubilee personally. It really depends on your sound signature preference.
Absolutely worth it but I preferred 58x. It isn’t a “better” headphone, I just preferred the sound signature over 6xx. Both are amazing deals. From memory, 58x has more bass but 6xx is a more resolving headphone overall, especially within the mids. 6xx is a little more power hungry, but I would recommend an amp for both really to get the best out of them.
Just ordered the HD6xx last night. Will these blow away my Nuraphones?

I’d easily pay 250 for the HD6xx’s my HD598’s from like 5-6 years ago… sound horrible compared to the 6xx’s, and that 250 is actually what I paid for the HD598’s back then… shame on me.
I personally prefer my 6xx over my 58x for music (I use my 58x primarily for gaming), with that said they’re both very similar headphones like other people have said, just minor differences in bass and mid range. if I were you i would just hold onto the money and buy something else in the same price range or save up for something a little more expensive. This way you’re at least gonna get something that’s not so similar to what you already have.
In the same price range I’d probably look into the HE4xx or even the Takstar HF 580 Z just reviewed, both planars and both will sound a lot different than the 58x or 6xx.
