Has anyone heard this amp? Would this be an upgrade over the xDuoo TA-20?

Almost nobody’s talking about this amp. All I’ve heard is that it’s neutral and airy, and requires 100+ hrs of burn in

I cant find any retailers in the us that even carry ut may be why no one is talking about it here tbh

This is currently on Drop - anyone have any experience with this or thoughts about it? Looks intriguing.

Its a nice transparent slightly upper mids boosted amp. Sadly the driving power is only soso, works great with most dynamics and planars but if you are running something like HE6se or DT880 600ohm or R70X(strangely ADX5000 is drivened surprisingly well with the BHA100) you would want to daisy chain to a more powerful solid state amp.

Also the paired DAC100 is a bad match. You want either a neutural or slightly warm dac to pair with the BHA100.

Lastly always input balanced if you can as the inverter is very good and works great even with single ended out.

I would really like to know more it looks very promising, clean electronic design on the inside with all premium components.

Maybe its just a very bad match with the R70x, I find it very very hard to believe it can drive the adx5000 properly and not the r70x.

Edit: after researching a bit I think it cant power either r70x or adx5k properly, still some people like the tonality with the adx

Nah its not a very powerful amp, it is howerver a really clean hybrid amp designed to run with AT headphones/iems that isnt R70X/ADX5000. That being said it still will sound quite good, just not with the level of dynamics if you daisy chain it to a powerful solid state amp.

To be honest this is a SS sounding amp with tube highlights and is generally if you like a slight boost to the upper mids and slight drag in the bass. Otherwise its mostly a very clean amp.
