Some manufacturers have notes in their manuals to not replace the fuse with solid silver slugs.
Which begs 2 questions:

  1. WHY?!
  2. At what current does a 5x20 mm silver ingot “blow”?

That’s nuts that they have to put that in the manual, Audiophool’s are so delusional they can’t understand the purpose of a fuse. I popped the fuse on the back of my sub amp during a power surge and it saved my amp.
