No need to be embarrassed lol. I love mine. I would say theyâre up there with my favorite. I consider them a nice change, again why I choose to own so many. Any time I take a break from any headphone, like a week or so, I can go back to them and appreciate them more. I was hooked on my hawks for like 3 weeks, started building new playlists, but then I put on my teaks and forgot how much I loved them too. They are also just a fun headphone, good bass slam but with more sparkle than the hawks, and more intimate vocals.
Just last night, I put on my 650s after not listening to them for like a year, and I was like âwow these are still greatâ. I kinda forgot about them and what they bring to the table. Listening to some cafe jazz where the vocals are prominent and the 650s just shine.
So I consider the hawks to by up there on top and are definitely added into the rotation of headphones I listen to frequently. I need that rotation and freshness.
Yes and yes. The sale for 200 new ended, but looking used you will most likely find them used for that price in the us at least. I would suggest reading the thread though
Yeah technically the leather has more sparkle to the treble, the suede gives more bass impact and tones down the treble some.
Again, they really need to be given a good bit of time to listen to.
They stopped making them, so now they are at a very attractive price. TBH I donât think they were worth at 700, but at 400 they were pretty good and at current price they are very nice
They are also still available on Music Direct just for $250 instead of the $200 they were selling for a few weeks ago. Curious to see how long these stay in stock on the web.
Yo, just wanted to say that I probably had ~100 hours on the leather pads but I switched to suede after seeing you post about them numerous times⊠and holy shit, the suede is so much comfier and I think it sounds just slightly better.
