Same.
There are lots of spots to talk about or be spammed by audio gear.
I have no interest in this thread being one of those places.
A 10/90 split with audio talk being the 10% is ideal.
Japan Right wing just took strong control and as an investor in companies related to military support ( Mitsubishi and Kawasaki Heavy Industries for ex)
I’m very much fine with that.
Me paying taxes and not being able to actually vote is just the way it is.
The Airports are open 7 days a week and I can leave anytime so pouting about “my rights”…nah.
I woulda voted for her and her party too anyway.
While true at face value, I’d like to add that in the modern era (roughly post-1965), voter suppression efforts are overwhelmingly advanced by Republicans. And before someone gets their panties in a bunch the “old” southern Democrats are now the GOP…after slowly migrating.
I’ll say that clearly the Divided States and particularly those behind the levers of control are not ready for a women in charge , let alone a dark skin woman..oh the horror.
Also what is your opinion on the tia trio from 64 audio and the fourté series, I’ve seen em graphed but I don’t think I’ve seen the vids.
I’m helping a client with a HE-1 like eq, I said bro I can get you near the tonality, that’s all, no precise sound, and definitely not anywhere near the stage unless your iem has a minimum 2mm hole for pressure relief vent to get somewhere close to the open backness at least in terms of pressure, not that you will hear the outside world clearly.
I got a similar 1k dip going on like on the 64s and the he-1 measurement and a low pinna at 3k 4~5db, bass boost is like 6db below 80hz. The upper region is like 2~3 db below ief old curve.
My guy still trying it, I’ve had nightmares getting the bass right, sometimes it feels low and sometimes it feels high, mood changes perception…
The HE-1 bass is a different breed compared to the regular stax stuff.
I genuinely don’t know
I would have surmised that the drivers were over dampened or tasked with frequencies they weren’t most suited for
But, Canpur has a close relationship with Sonion and the appropriate execution was surely done
That graph is a “V”
It sounds less potent than the 622b
I tried different sources and tubes and dac filters and nothing resolved the issue
The vocals sounded boxy but the tuning isn’t indicating that..,like the bass tuning implies force and impact when it is in the production will of course be there. But it wasn’t
It sounds like a Dunu SA6 which I find boring and unnatural but the tuning is very different
I was unable to sell it to anyone and tried again to just enjoy some music and stop listening to the earphones and just listen to the music
It didn’t work.
I don’t have any good explanation
Fan of the company and the transparency but I am relieved that set is gone
If folks believe money buys quality get the 622b
If it’s all about music grab the 1/dd set for 130?
For single DD set, my closed eye recommendation has always been TE Hola. The Flash would be interesting but i gotta listen to it first.
regarding the drivers, when you said overdampened, i finally feel that you are the only reviewer i’ve known to come across the unicorn i was chasing. but damping factor it works in a lot of different ways, acoustical damping and electrical. i dont know which one of them was compromised, but now it is genuinely a thing i wanna consider in tuning approach…
irc, this same set has the BC used in 622B?
just wanna make sure its not that driver affecting the equation…
Edit: Just checked, it uses the same BC from sonion, they are supposed to hit 2k tho, so not sure if that contributes anywhere else. It doesn’t have DDs, the BAs as long as they arent vented except for the bass driver, which i have already worked with before. My guess is the crossover damped the drivers…
I think the narrative of most political things has been hijacked by extreme elements of both parties
I don’t trust either party nor do I trust anyone who spouts dogma of their party.
People don’t even debate the issues they default to attacking and defamation of the person or people they disagree with
The Grammy Awards just highlighted ICE and made no on mic comments about Epstein or Ukraine . It’s like they can’t handle more than one topic at a time
Here is quite easy to get citizenship, you just need certain amount of time being here and working and that’s about it. And you are eligible to vote. What I hate is that because we are poor country we have maybe 200k or more people living abroad, we are about 1.7 milion people in total living in the country, from which quite big percentage are living for more than 15-20 years abroad and they have equal vote rights for deciding what happens in this country….
And Western Europe even more. While being poor country isn’t spectacular it benefits us that we don’t have a lot happening with immigration and all the other stuff. Quite peaceful and save place to live with no EU bs propaganda forced on us since we are not part of the EU still.
I honestly feel it’s not about what these artists feel to be morally right or wrong but just about choosing those topics that’ll allow them to score with their target demographic.
WILD…. with Grok’s verification, even more so.
Waiting to see what Clinton even has to say publicly. Guy has had twitter for ages, but waiting for a public hearing…
