Testing a new target, I’m replacing the Microplanar with a Knowles RAD, thats the driver they use on valhalla but like 4 of them iirc.

Gonna test these after a few hours before adding the sub
that’s 5.6Ohms resistor instead of 33 on the Mids btw

That’s the new dd

I remember my first trip to the US (2013 iirc). Every time I went to a restaurant or diner, I wasn’t able to finish my plate. It was so much… It felt so wasteful too. The craziest was this hamburger joint in Atlanta while visiting some former colleagues who lived there. The place was https://www.thevortexbar.com/. They had something called the quadruple bypass burger (no longer on the menu it seems)

And people were actually ordering that and sometimes even finishing it. How?

Anyway, I’m gonna train my neck muscles for a bit.

Don’t know the guy, just searched for an example of that monstrosity. But looking at the video now, the challenge is finishing that in 30 mins?! That’s fucking murderous. I don’t remember that challenge being there when I was there. I saw someone finishing that thing, but not within 30mins and it wasn’t that expensive then.
Otherwise, the atmosphere was great there. (And they had some proper Belgian beers)

Yeah the guy can eat like a beast for sure, his weekly calorific intake is mostly in a deficit plus he’s into weights too…So as always..calories ingested v’s calories expended = gain or lose weight # no science needed not at all.

Chris, thank you very much for pointing out the Norigami wraps. I am a coeliac and struggle to find wraps etc which both taste good and are manageable. I purchased the Sesame Seeed and Chilli versions, and they are fantastic, particularly the chilli one. I just tried toasting them post wrap and now have a new lunchtime favourite.

I am using them every day.
The last time I tried low carb wraps it tasted awful so I wasn’t expecting much.

LOVE these.. I double wrap for cheeseburgers

Those look amazing

Chris you might want to try this one from Madelaine Rascan.

You can use beef, lamb, pork etc (just have it finely minced).

Easier to do if you use cling film and a rolling pin to roll it out.

You can have any filling you like, chilli, curry etc but make sure its precooked and cool before adding to the protein sheet.

I’m having pork ragu and cheese filling tonight, effectively making a protein Calzone.

What in the hell? I’d die of starvation if I couldn’t get my double quarter pounder with one extra patty on there :skull_and_crossbones:

A fantastic site for recipies is the Gluten Free Blogger.

The Find Me Gluten Free App is very good. Reviews are from coeliacs, and it covers hygiene, cross contamination, staff knowledge, unlike Google, Trip Advisor etc, who will only tell you if GF food is available. I have previously been to eateries following Google advice only to find out the GF meal is salad. My wife and I holidayed in Spain this January and the app took us to some fantastic restaurants and one of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve ever been to.

This is hugely helpful. I’m truly thankful for these recommendations, forwarding to my wife right away!

I have been diagnosed for eight years and it’s a steep learning curve. The one major piece of advice I pass on to anyone is read the ingredients. You will be flabbergasted at the products you will find wheat, barley and rye in. The Coeliacs Society has an online database. If in doubt, don’t use it!
