First time seeing this ones, similarly priced although different material diagrams is what the difference in price is I guess. Gonna be interesting to see the difference in sound with the different diagram materials. Just saw some new 1DD from Tangzu with diamond coating diagram or something like that and costs quite much.

Actually not, most oems dont charge you more to change diaphragms from one to another if its the same model.

Sounds like marketing fluff. Pretty sure almost all diaphragms are coated via evaporation method…

Yea probably marketing gimmick, seemed like that to me. Although the asking price ain’t small for this set for 1DD configuration, but if it delivers in the sound department I guess it is fine. Never had anything from Tangzu other than mine Wan’er 2 regular edition.

Bruh 1 mf driver just died, outta nowhere, never took it out the shell, only had wires connected to the terminals replaced, never touched more than 1~2secs, the dual unit interconnect wires were untouched, so just to make sure i rechecked by soldering wires and connecting them in parallel to the main driver, but nope, driver is dead. Outta nowhere, like tf just happened…? 
i told the guy that things could get destroyed in the process, but the aim was to retain the mids driver, so that was never touched except for the wires resoldering part 
i’m gonna get labelled as incompetent… FML

Edit: the guy either getting my KE4 for his replacement, or I’m seeing this through with another mids/low treble driver

I had a Perfect Replacement with ED29689, This BA is a solid replacement and even louder for than a dual unit.
Shall be back on track by tomorrow 
perfectly follows variations in treble, but meta cut at 1.5k, peak back to 2.8k instead of 3.2~3.5 on the MD BA, and more low mids/low-end.
Its a Huge W. Also better 8k might I add

Inspired by your work.
I double wrap and lay it so only 3/4 is doubled up with 1/4th extending it so I can get a wider roll.
Makes my dieting a whole lot more enjoyable.
