My mother had, what my father referred to as, ‘The Death -Ray Glare ‘. Her options were, do as I say, or else. ‘Or else’ was not an option my sister and I were ever foolish enough to opt for.

I went to a Catholic kindergarden school run by nuns. They wooped our asses if we got out of line. Spankings, washing mouth out with soap, doing manual labor, etc. If that didn’t work the parents got called in and got an ear full. If that didn’t work you were out. I see no real problem with this as long as its the correct punishment for the ‘crime’. Bullying or really anything other than doing your school work was not happening ever.

They botched the cable on that last bit.
Idk how that got past. That would have been a straight nope before soldering, and even after. Was it a wrong twist on the braid, or a loose braid there?

We changed our Sons School 
Absolutely fantastic idea
The previous school ignored Kai if he was loud
I want strict rules
The new school is old Japanese style and everyday is an event, today they learned about traditional Japanese culture specifically fish and how it is caught cooked and eaten
Kai looks happy and they have an uber excellent app to record everything
If you don’t like your kids school….change it

That’s a shame. Sounds like a letdown for something that expensive. I already wondered about the bass seeing there aren’t any DDs in there.

The Canpur 622B has BA bass and is excellent
This DSP is over engineering.
EQ is DSP and DSP is distortion
DSP = Distortion
The Lotoo Blackfin chip which is dedicated to DSP is about as good as its ever been done
I might run this to the Lotoo via 3.5 LO and make my own bass PEQ
I can see ( hear) why this didn’t take off like the more expensive Fugaku
No regrets
I buy expensive stuff mostly to hear the diminishing returns myself
Lotta folks don’t mention music so their takes mean absolutely nothing

That’s even more of a shame if it’s the DSP being the culprit seeing it is the ‘special sauce’. If possible it would be nice to hear what it is like with all switches set to ‘off’ in the review.
Talking about devices meant for replaying music without discussing the actual music is still such a missed opportunity (to put it nicely).

We removed our eldest child from his first senior school. He has dyslexia and the staff were treating him as though he was simply stupid. We tried to address it, but the head teacher said they didn’t have time to provide extra help for him. So we moved him to a school on the other side of town which had a structure in place for dyslexics. We also had to prevent the local education authority from sending our younger son to the first school, and had him sent to the same school as his brother.

Choosing/ switching schools is hugely important. The School system doesn’t care and the teachers have too many kids each and even if they are kind and love teaching they can’t do much
I used to teach in Japan so i saw it up close.
We immediately pulled the trigger on the idea.
What is best for Kai?
We absolutely scored to find this place.
