The canpur without the Ti shell, how much did that measure?

I was really surprised to find out even gear shifting has fallen prey to electrification. Do you feel it provides any benefits or would the old fashioned way have sufficed?
are you asking about the bluetooth/wireless gear shifters?

Tbh, I have no idea if BT is involved.
Edit: it just seems like another possible point of failure, not doing it the mechanical way.

I used to check out some SRAM gears, I was interested in the wireless shifters
they seem to use proprietary wireless system, to signal the gear shifter on the rear wheel.
but thereās bluetooth for phone connection or something, idk how that part works

As an aside: it used to be that bikes (not even the racing or MTB ones) were affordable but nowadays prices are insane.

I know someone who is an avid amateur cyclist and he bought one of those carbon fibre bikes. Crazy pricing and scratches easily. Which is fine, itās a hobby like this one, but prices are absurd. And of course even kids and teens over here have electric ones which is not exactly promoting fitness at their age.

Itās the first bike Iāve owned with electric gear shifting. Iām still getting used to it. It is quicker, and moving to the low gears when you are coming to a halt is much better. The downside is that if youāre system fails you are stuck in one gear. No roadside fix!
Iām old school. I donāt like hydraulic disc breaks. Too much faff, and if they fail when youāre out riding they are unfixable, unlike cable systems. I always carry a couple of spare cables when I go riding.
If I find I donāt like the Di2 system I will sell the bike. It does need some adjustments, but other than a few teething issues it is a lovely ride, and it weighs nothing, which is great for going up hills.

Bike prices are ludicrous. You can get decent bikes on the used market. I have two carbon bikes, one hybrid aluminium/carbon, three steel and a tricycle. Wifey has instructed me to sell three of them. If I do I can upgrade the hybrid.

I had my finger on the trigger for buying a titanium bike last year. I couldnāt justify the cost at the time. But if I sell a lot of kit, one may sneak its way into my garage.

20+ years ago me and my brother owned and ran a bike and snowboard shop for eight years. We were lucky to try out, demo and sell a lot of lovely bikes and boards. We were a Trek, Gary Fisher, Marin, Whyte, Rocky Mountain, Cotic, Scott, Klein and Pace amongst others dealer.
Reynolds 853 and Ti frames were my favourite just because of their wonderfully forgiving and compliant characteristics

I bought the FiiO/Snowsky Retro Nano because it has a easily replaceable battery ( uses a 10440 ), sadly the Echo MINI didnāt do that, because if it had, I would have bought it.

I thought that big thing was a bass drum. 
Grab her a kids drum kit off eBay used and see if she sticks to it. Then go full spoil Dad and buy her some mean kit

Hell yeah! Iāll get her a cool set of percussions. Worst that can happen is I end up playing it ahhaha. She has something going on here. Daddy is very proud.
