Bad Guy Good Audio 4/4 (The Final Chapter)

Well, everything is pointing to Iran closing the strait of Hormuz now. We’re possibly looking at a repeat of the 70’s oil crisis, but there is a major difference this time. The US has enough of their own stock because of all the fracking and Europe is no longer the oil guzzler it once was. Europe also has acces to a Saudi pipeline allowing them to bypass the Persian Gulf. (LNG could a problem though).

Looks like a number of Asian countries might be the victim this time.

Saw that in the news. Appreciate your perspective on this (existence of the pipeline has never been mentioned in any of the Dutch media). I can imagine a lot also depends on the extent to which the US will let them do so and whether they’'ll be able to keep up any blockade…

Let’s not forget US access to Venezuela oil. That operation came in handy at this time. Guess it was always in the plans.

I’m just wondering. Closing Hormuz is in my opinion not the best plan for Iran. They need to get their own oil out because they need the money. Then you have the neigbours like UAE etc who will not be happy with this.
It wouldn’t surprise me if a corridor gets forced through military means.

Iran is already causing problems with debris damage on oil plants and as I read Hormuz has very limited transit at this point. The oil price is gonna be through the roof if this is prolonged for some time.

That’s also something being mentioned in the media, a US enforced corridor.

This explains the whole Chinese embassy thing as well :face_with_monocle:

They are burning all of their bridges in the Middle East with this behaviour. Like a cornered animal lashing out before the end (hopefully).

Gas prices might be even worse off than oil. Qatar announced that they are winding down LNG production or even stopping for safety reasons. That is 20% of the global LNG production suddenly gone.
It’s also a double whammy because USD is gaining major traction now, and since Oil and Gas is traded in USD…

We’ve just had a meeting with our main risk management partner. We’re not expecting the prices to drop back for at least the next week.

The U.S. administration (hoo-rah…..hoo-rah…..hoo-rah) and little dick syndrome poster child Pete Hesgeth along with the utter ghouls in Israel can fucking own this without dragging the rest of us into it.

Not just the posts I think. Also close to other civilian areas. One of the targeted countries has already permanently closed its embassy in Iran.
