Bad Guy Good Audio 4/4 (The Final Chapter)

@hawaiibadboy Man this’s crazy, normally most if not all political/religious stuff on this forum ends in flags and tears…A least here folks are allowing members to have their say/give their opinions without playing the snowflake/offended card…Fuck do we actually have well rounded and adjusted folk on this forum?

I truly, desperately want to know what really goes on in Poopskins mind. He must be experiencing one hell of a ride if you ask me.

It almost feels like not tolerating bullshitters and dingleberrymunchers will leave you with people who are capable of proper discourse?

One of the handful of transducers I sold, was way too bright with me with peaky treble, shouty vocals and like zero bass. I even take the Koss trio over it…

Even for classical where that brighter tonality would work better with I would still take the Koss ksc75 over it…

We all give opinions and don’t bait a debate.
Nobody has time to debate the morals of Millionaires.
The World is clearly pretty cooked.
I have to double check lots of stuf because it seems unbelievable but…
It’s mostly true.

Earbuds dynamic drivers? Damn.

KSC75 isnt really a bud but hard to call it a hp as well I guess.

It’s an “on-ear’ headphone. Simple as.

Edit: I suppose “Clip-On” applies if someone REALLY wants a unique identifier/nomenclature for the specific style. Koss, Sony and Audio Technica have all made this style as well.

Yup on ears. KSC75 has the same driver (although perhaps not the same diaphragm) as the Porta Pro and KPH30i.

I did start this thread about this on ear…

I’ve backed that headphone on kickstarter, looks good and finally a worthy upgrade to my old Koss porta pros (my guilty llstening pleasure)

Just watched the Cypher video, loved the thumbnail  They have dope looks! Would have backed them on the kickstarter campaign with the early bird prize if I wasn’t building house and junior on the way in month give or take. They seem to be good all arounder that might not satisfy my bass preference but earpads and some EQ might make them pertfect. Shots fired at HD600

And the gatekeepers, let’s not forget those

The Headphone community needs me.
I have folks in the comments of that vid saying the HD600 is revered because of its Timbre’
Having audibly rolled sub bass that makes 808’s, Bass guitar lines and Drumkits sound off…
Timbre

Reminds of the cult around the U12t
That set was a jack of all trades.
great at nothing
Adjust to 77dB out w/ a 450Hz tone
Do same to another set (I used IE600, Mangird TOP Pro, Night Oblivion)
Put U12t in Left ear and other set in right and listen…switch ears.

U12t is for folks who don’t love music
HD600 is for podcasts (Vocals, clarity and openback/comfort are good)

Wait

What was really bad with u12t?

I have only heard 64’s volur so far. From what i know, folks around me just liked u12t and its rather warm sound…

??
I said it’s a jack of all trades
never said “Bad” or “Really Bad”

  • It has an overly warm replay that smoothes it as warm sets tend to do
  • It lacks impact It has the warmth but no slam
  • It’s mids are not ideal for vocals (see “warmth”)
  • treble has an audible ring in harmonics.

It is very safe and well built. It’s not for basshead, it’s not Vocal centric, it’s not highly resolving due to the warmth.

Sorry my mistake. I just interpreted this as bad in general.

I’m just trolling the reader.

Lotta reviewers are not Music lovers.

Or…they rarely talk about it. The only thing these I/O devices do
The context and structure the subjective opinions are based around is supposedly Music.

While on the topic of openback headphones. What would be a proper rec under $400?
