Too many buyers that were like “what is this, who is HBB” and no instructions on the card. The Lyric card game was a nice thought. Three/four people (#1, #200, #300) (assuming #100 is a gold card, not sure about #400 and #500 though) got gold penned cards and claimed them so that was about a 1:125 chance at winning, which is not too shabby.
I paid $300 outta my own pocket so not a gimmick.
Definitely poorly executed.
There was no interest on Linsoul’s end so cards went out full random and cards were lost/not sent.
Myself and NYMZ put alot of time into it. My Fiance did too.
If you do not have FULL control you actually have NO control.
What I learned from that.
I still liked having golden tickets next time you have an opportunity to do something special like this.
#FuckGrandpaJoe
I will. The lyrics cards were too complicated without more control but the Golden ticket. That will rise again
hey Chris, now that the Vulkan has been officially released, can you share your thought on them? very interested in this set
Yes, I will be doing a review in next few days.
That thumbnail is fantastic by the way.
Thanks for the video Chris it was instrumental in my direction. I was lucky to meet up with Joseph from LETSHOUER and after listening to some tracks and I ended with The Rolling Stones “We love you” … bought the EJ07M Lava
So cool to be able to hear before laying out the $$$ Joseph is golden big thanks. Shouer don’t loose him.
This IEM is on a different level or a few from my Penon Globe / Timesless / Obsidian OH10.
Let the waiting game begin.
Glad you like
Joseph is probably the best rep in the hobby
This is timely, I am searching for a basshead IEM for my collection. Unfortunately the ASG 2.5 seems to be already out of production.
I tried CRA and felt that the bass is still lacking, now thinking of Focus EDM or TFZ no. 3.
Anyone has experience on those two? I believe EDM as mentioned was like a “jackhammer” so I’m a bit concerned that it might bleed. Hence thinking if no. 3 might be enough or it might be lacking as I was not satisfied with CRA
EDM are sexy bass and an easy go to for me when I’m feeling like I need the JLs in the trunk so to speak.
i like the sound profile of neutral with bass boost it seems (i like the mele but i always use final tips. and I’m digging the moondrop chu but just wishing it had that extra thump and power). my budget is a very hard part seeing as thinking wisely i would be about in the 200 dollar price bracket (about 100 less then i spent on the headphones i use more often… though i do use IEMs all the time outside or in a car or even just outside the house so maybe it is worth it to go up). like most of my library is like electronic music and pop music, but also a lot of electric and acoustic guitars… so something versatile but also has that specific energy for say a JPEGmafia or 100 gecs type song, but still able to handle for a simple indie pop track like phoebe bridgers i know the end… basically I’m super OCD about my choices and have an idea what i like but not where to go because of stuff about planar timbre or hybrid or buy olina that make it hard to think
Sounds like an Olina should be right up your alley, and if you’re not feeling it 100% in stock form, there are easy (and reversible) mods to tune things like bass and mids where you want them.
Lol S13 another planar?
maybe… but also its hard not to get caught in the driver wars and the fact its just a DD and when i mentioned wanting the bass with clarity HBB suggested hybrids or tribrids so i kinda wonder whether to upgrade to one instead, especially since the olina is just a mele with some mods to raise the highs
I could be wrong, but although they share a shell, Mele and Olina are completely different drivers (Olina uses the same DD as the Tanchjim Oxygen).
Wow I totally missed the fact that HBB’s pic shows S13!! Wowww. Looks like the part on the back could be semi-open back??
