This comes down is in the end we decide for ourselves. There are very good iems but there is none that are the best choice for everyone.

I have one of these, but I agree it doesn’t have that amazing lining. This is my favorite case so far, but the hinge is designed so it stays open until you close it, and it has enough space for bulkier IEMs and cables.

Listening to Joan Jett how much better experience you can get with the LETSHOUER EJ07M KL going to be over the Yanyin Ca-Non? Worth the extra $250? 
Once I get up there is it worth the next step. I currently listening to the OH10 EQ’D to the KL tuning and my Penon Globe both sound and different and love them both.
I am torn and don’t know if I should spend the extra.

@hawaiibadboy is there any difference in imaging, 3d effect and treble sparkle between the international MEST Mk1 and the Japanese version? Im on a verge of picking one or the other and your answer would be absolutely priceless to me

I think the Japanese version fits and sounds better. If you can grab as easy as the orginal then I’d rec the JP version 
I’m importing it by a friend from the US 
is the lack of a 15k treble peak not impacting the sparkle then? That was my biggest gripe with most earphones including the EJ07M

No, the BC driver is actually doing a lot. The vocals can sound intense for many despite it not having an “A” typical gain region. Graphs beyond 8-10Khz are notoriously fickle and should be taken with a big grain of salt.
I started my MEST hype based on the JP version. The intl never fit good and both had great sense of space and sparkle
