Hi Chris, I’m not a big CA fan and I haven’t seen you review much of their creations anyway, but have you heard the Campfire Audio Vega to speak to how they fare as a basshead set? Some have been turning up reasonably priced compared to their original price.

How does it play hip hop rnb?
Despite that massive bass shelf it sounds pretty good and it does do well with hip hop R&B and EDM.
Is it going in your s tier?

Aw man. I only had the Clairvoyance for a week back when I had them, because they outpriced the total I had for the hobby, I knew I couldn’t keep them. (Sadly a similar situation when I had the OG Dark Magicians, besides fit issues).
Looking at this graph I can see why I liked them:
With all the hours I have spent loving the Serial, this looks like a tasteful variation. Far too distant of a memory to work out if I should give them another shot if I see them for the right price. There’s something to be said for all DD note weight and timbre.
If I was going to put all my budget into an IEM, I feel like at the moment it would be the Moonlight.
But for now I’ll enjoy another evening of the Serial and put my phone/laptop away.
I’ve been away from listening to any music for the last 4 days (baby is here!) and finally got a chance to listen to the Serial again today. Boy does absence make the heart grow fonder. I love that set soo much!
