Maybe yet another question (if you would get that covered by some video release in the future, then I would wait for the answer there) - how would that dongle compare pure SQ wise to DAPs that you own?
I mean it is probably 1/5th of the size of typical player nowadays and even taking away the screen the hardware is just nowhere near the size
No matter what the answer is I still buy it though, this is the most hyped piece of gear in audio (excluding earphones and headphones obviously) since I remember

Personally Iâd just grab an Olina (and filter mod it if you want). Tried both the Timeless and S12 and ended up returning both (bless Amazon). Planar timbre and itâs lightness is just not for me Olina also has better mids, imaging, and soundstage imo with same level of detail and clarity.
Using a pretty bassy song with Billie Eilishâs bury a friend the bass thumps donât really have that claustrophobic feeling, itâs very clear but even the super bassy stuff like three fh3 still feels clear in vocals despite having the tense bass kicks in full power⌠also the fact that the chus bass feels extended but not truly effective, like it is doing the bass but it didnât feel as well done as the song would want.
Giving an example of what I want⌠though the bass wasnât the best part of the crn too and more was the clarity and timbre (that 5db bass eq crin offered really helped)
Olina also has better mids, imaging, and soundstage imo with same level of detail and clarity.
