Tbh so far I’m not impressed with 2022 in terms of audio, lots of copycats and/or sidegrades. Other than the Raptgo, I haven’t seen anything that really stands out as something fresh

Which is to say, I’m not surprised when a new IEM Chris gets sounds good. It’s all tried and true. But nothing so far made me wanna sell my OG Monarch

When I see stuff i love i hype it repeatedly. Like Hook X in every planar war vid. The hobby is so good in budget range and so redundant it makes it hard to get excited for a buncha same face items with fancy B.S. specs and wording

They are good that is all I will say. How they compare to Vortex I have never heard the Vortex. I was ready to pull trigger. The Olina was an almost buy but the graph and the fact I had to mod it I passed.

Ah, cool, you got a set. Yeah, I was pretty sure they would be good and I’d like them - was very tempted especially since they do a black version. If I hadn’t got the Olinas already I’d have jumped for sure :+1:

No Chu here, but I do have Olinas (good for bass), and just received the Aria SEs (better for bass). I mean, the bass doesn’t hit me in the chest like Jimmy Cliff’s bassist warming up at Jazz Fest, but listening to Herbie Hancock’s ‘Chameleon’ is giving me plenty of rumble down there.

You said you had fit issues with one of them until you seated it deeper. Are the nozzles shorter on these?

actually the CHU has less sub and mid bass than the CRN… probably why i didn’t notice multiple graphs said it the same way… the chus treble and mids were fantastic (and the spring tips feel great), i just need that small bump up which will probably depend on the diokos qualities

No, fit was solid with Spinfit CP100. Stock tips are worthless. Most sets are like that though

I haven’t heard the moonlights or rosemary but i don’t think they’ve had any misses so far. In audio delight with the Canons
