Really enjoying these. I was kind of kicking myself for not getting something from Thieaudio instead…but these are growing on me more and more each day. They just sound so musical compared to the Variations which is more clinical in the mids and bass focused.

I’ve got £500 burning a hole in my pocket
I’m a fan of good DD iems I love the Acoustune HS1670SS and the Olina and the FiiO Fd5
Looking to get something that’s got good dynamic bass smooth slightly forward mids and sparkling treble
My options are

Zen Pro > Zen (I know it costs more but still. I rec ZP and not Zen)
IE600 doesn’t have forward mids, it’s a (mild) V-shape

I’m not really technical with the description on sound so from what I’ve picked up a like a W/ balanced sound signature warm with sparkle with natural timbre

I’d rec the KL is they had stuck to the script. I think a lot of gear is coming out in next 4-8 weeks prior to 11/11.
If that fire in your pocket can be temporarily doused you may have a few more options

Yeah thank god I have more cables haha, I really didn’t wanna go without the beautiful sound these things put out
the support for the store you got them from would probably be willing to send a new cable
Amazon won’t do something like that lol, I would just have to return it completely but it’s okay I have cables so fortunately I don’t have to do that
