Bad Guy Good Audio Rankings and stuff (under construction) (Part 1)

Yes, I would take RSV over Oracle MKII

RSV is a poor man’s U12t. It is all BA but has accurate/monitor like replay in the low end.
*the real reason it is like the u12t is the odd pinch of reverb that seems to cover the whole replay.
Has a musicality that is not due to elevated midbass/sense of note weight.

I thought U12t and Anole VX could be considered “boring”

RSV and Elysian DIVA are 2 all BA sets that maintain the techs but seem to be more lively and not at expense of perceived accuracy.

Thanks for the response. I was definitely interested to hear your opinion with price aside. Found a used RSV for $430 which seems like a good deal. Probably best I go that route as it’ll be less a loss if I don’t like them. Inclined to believe I will though. Maybe Oracle MKII will come my way in the future when used ones start to hit the market.

Sounds like a solid plan.
Good price on RSV ( helps with potential resale loss %)

MKII is certainly not going to go up in price
and 2nd hand sets from reputable hobbyist will be around soon.
Solid plan.

You have obviously been doing this for a while :v: :notes:

The Maestro SE should be interesting. Heavy but with excellent bass control, neutral midrange and treble.

Man that set should’ve been called Fat Frequency Phatt SE :+1:

They hammer and the BA’s giving sweet mids. My new babies :sparkling_heart:

And no gaping maw with a BA reaching right up to it! I was so paranoid when I had a Maestro Mini.

Yeah, would like a better cable but sound is amazing. The power and clean mids and quad EST

I have reached FATfreq to buy the Maestro SE a few weeks ago, but it still on hold. Waiting from your impressions before making a decision.

I’m enjoying Vivaldi right now.
These are the best set I own.
I’m going to talk to them in video about that avg cable.
I think they do no service to themselves to tune a fucking masterpiece and put an average cable on it.
I got nothing but gushing praise for the set but lets up the cable bro’s

With so many drivers per side, how is the for of the SE?

The fit? Same as the Maestro mini which for me is excellent.

How is the size of the shells compared to Elysian X? I have the universal Annihilator which uses the same shell and had no problems with fit. Ben from FATfreq told me they engineered the fit of the shells to be ideal for medium to large ears.
