…but quite how soon is the Maka going to make the big time? It would be just about the most perfect application of my $25 for $50 card during the November sale event.

Just gonna pop in and give another thumbs up for the DDHifi adapters; I have a pair of the 2.5 balanced to 3.5 SE adapters, and they’re fantastic.

I use the DDHifi adapters also and they’ve worked great:
2.5 → 3.5
4.4 → 3.5
4.4 → 2.5

Hey @hawaiibadboy I’ve been looking at the maestro mini and maestro SE. I know the mini is bass head king, but does the se also fit the bass head category and endgame, or is it more traditional? Should I bite the bullet and get the se for the best of both worlds?

I’d get SE the mids are all BA and keep the manster bass out of mids and you got quad EST doing great in the trebs.
I’d skip mini and save for SE if it were my money
Mini was sent to me and I paid for SE

I had an issue with my cable coming loose on my Softears Twilight. I noticed you mentioned in the turri ti video thst it benefits more from mmcx or pentacom cable.

Did u notice any connection issues with the cable?

With Twilight? no. I do think that design would benefit from Pentecon terminations

It’s under serious consid as my fave set. it’s a 12 driver tribrid with monster bass good mids thanks to low mid ba taming the mid bass and quad EST…it is really nice.
