How much and what cable do you recommend?

Yeah thatâs what Iâve heard. Itâd be amazing if these larger companies can figure out how to make cables like or even recruit people like XINHS to make their cables. I have a $20 (Literally) cable from XINHS and its fantastic. So I donât think cost is an issue.
The Truthears Zero uses a cable just like what 64 Audio used for years.
For a $50 set itâs great.
This set having a ghetto cable in 2022 is kinda infuriating.
I paid a lot. it sounds amazing.
Buy a better cable in bulk of Alibaba and fucking try harder man.

Right. I canât imagine getting a cable right is anything hard to do in this hobby at this point in time. With so many people doing an amazing job on cables, youâd be hard pressed to find a shortage of talented folk to work with.
Yeah, to add to the pile-on: having to buy an upgrade cable for your $20,$50,$100 set? Maybe you grumble but you get it

Yeah 64 is usually overpriced for sound quality but their build quality is solid.
Some of my chifi stuff usually have qa issues. Some issues minor some big. It doesnât matter for cheap stuff but they start charging American prices for crappy build quality and thatâs a problem.
Of course Japan iems are usually built like a tank.
But yeah, for that much money i shouldnât have to buy a cable too.

A Japan exception, maybe there are more, is driver matching in Final Audio IEMs â many documented cases of terrible matching. Iâve never noticed an imbalance in either E4000 Iâve owned, but Iâve never graphed them.

I had to return a pair of e5000s because the bass on the right IEM was noticeably higher compared to the left. Itâs the most blatant example of driver mismatching I have ever personally experienced. The replacement pair I received was fine though and I have owned two other Final IEMs with no problems.
