Iām not very familiar with Ananda but this is on the same branch of the tree as Arya. Energetic, Bass is enough almost always moreso w/bass guitars and drums. It treats the lowest of the 3 hits on kill Jill at 38Hz about same as Arya.
And this one is ready for prime time, compared to the other Moondrop headphone?

I was contemplating getting the Venus but wanted to have a review of it before seriously considering it. Looking forward to more information about it. How is the staging and imaging for you?
Thatās why Iām at a 99% satisfaction level with your recs. Nothing is ever 100% with anything, although Iāve never been disappointed with your recs.
I know you listen to some of the same stuff i listen to. Geto boys and Scarface is some of the hardest bass to get right for iems for some reason imho. This is where bad ba bass really shows itās weakness. Like u18s bass can sound good on a cardi b track but play it on Scarface big boy status it sounds anemic.
By the way, this bass line sounds bad on U18s but phenomenal on mest mk2 with spiral dot tips, ex800st and other good dynamics. U might want to add this to your bass tracks. Itās pretty unique and reveals winners vs losers IMHO.

To me forward vocals means that they seem more prominent compared to the music in the mix.

Very true. Rap a Lot record producers were doing such different beats I have to adjust my subwoofer x/over lower to really get the 5th Ward Houston gang punching while a higher setting is fine for Death row, No Limit and most N.Y. stuff.
